This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed with AfricaBlack Roastery and Espresso Bar are processed and delivered either by our drivers or our third-party delivery partners including but not limited to The Courier Guy, depending on your location.

Order Processing

Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Delivery and Collection

Local Deliveries

For customers within our local delivery zone, orders may be delivered using our own internal drivers.

Estimated delivery: same day or next business day after dispatch

Delivery times are scheduled based on driver routes and order volume

A physical address and contact number are required

National Deliveries (Third Party Delivery Partners)

For deliveries outside our local zone, we use our third party delivery partners including but not limited to The Courier Guy for distribution within South Africa.

Estimated delivery times once dispatched:

Main centres: 1–2 business days

Regional areas: 2–4 business days

Outlying / remote areas: 3–5 business days

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

Collection

Customers may arrange to collect orders directly from our roastery by prior agreement.

Shipping Rates and Tracking

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

Internal delivery routes and distance (for local orders), status updates provided by our team where applicable.

Third Party Delivery Partners standard rates (for national orders), a tracking number will be shared once dispatched.

Rates are displayed at checkout or confirmed by our sales team for wholesale clients.

Delivery Conditions

Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the order.

Accurate delivery details are essential.

Failed deliveries due to incorrect information or unavailability may result in additional delivery fees.

Liability & Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

Courier operational issues

Traffic or routing constraints

Weather, strikes, or force majeure

Once an order is handed over to our third party delivery partners, delivery risk transfers in line with their service terms.
